[The Bar With No Name] and Lounge

and Fire Barrel

This year's leads for [TCWNN] Mirjam, Anne, Mireille, Alvaro and Jason, all have run hugely successful suburban bars at Burning Man for a number of years... We know how to make a bar really come to life.  The bar will be open 24/7, but principally we see most activity between 12 noon and 8pm.

The bar will offer excellent craft brews all day and night all week.  Here is a list to the brews this year :

  • New Belgium Lips of Faith La
  • Maui Brewing CoCoNut Porter,
  • D's Wicked Cider Baked Apple,
  • Ballast Point Dorado Double IPA,
  • Dogfish Head 90-Minute IPA,
  • Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin,
  • Green Flash West Coast IPA,
  • Tieton Apricot Cider.

  • In addition there will a dazzling array of home-made vodka infusions, and plenty of soft drinks.

As in previous years, we will be bringing back "Spice Jar's Shut the Box and Flogging Station".  This will be located in the bar area, and has proven to be enormous fun.  Participants will play a game of Shut The Box. The origins of the game go back as far as the 12th century. If the player cannot completely shut the box, they lose and are flogged by one of six different floggers.  Relax!  The game is 100% consensual.

Other Interactivity will include the FIRE BARREL (with fire performers)

Every day [TCWNN] will host its daily Garden Party. The bar will continue to be a 24 hour bar but each day we will host an hour long Garden Party. Burners will follow us up the garden path to enter a most wondrous place: a hidden botanical oasis full of spectacle and delights. Strolling into the bar burners will find themselves transported into a summer soiree where we have faux green-than-green grass all year long, naughty staff decked out in their tennis off-whites and welcoming summer drinks to help escape the pace of playa life. Featuring live performances, playful picnics and delightful spanking games. If you venture far enough in you’ll find our Den of Iniquity, boasting some of the rarest infused vodkas. The lights are low, the flogging station is open, the hunchbacked man asks if you would like a stiff... vodka?
